127 Hours In The Utah Canyon

January 5th marks the highly-awaited release of Danny Boyle’s 127 Hours, his first work since the Oscar-winning Slumdog Millionaire. 127 Hours, based on the non-fiction piece “Between A Rock and A Hard Place”, tells the story of mountaineer Aron Ralston’s fight for survival, when he finds himself trapped against a canyon wall in Utah, after a freak accident.

Although I haven’t seen the movie yet (I am dying to watch it), just from the trailer I can tell the picture consists of some stunning visuals of the Utah desert and canyon. To add to this the film recieved some astonishing feedback and awesome reviews at the London Film Festival and Toronto, especially considering James Franco’s spectacular turn as the trapped adventurer.
