Amazon has released it’s “best of” list for 2010.This involves three lists: bestsellers, “most-wished-for,” and most popular gift purchases. Topping all three lists for electronic product was the Kindle Wireless Reading Device.
The Bestselling list conveys consumer sales between January 1 and December 15, 2010 and is measured in terms of total units sold. Stieg Larsson’s The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet’s Nest was top-selling book of 2010 and the most wished-for book in 2010, while The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo was top-selling e-book of the year and the most wished-for e-book in 2010.
With regard to Most Popular Gift Products of 2010, the most popular book gift item for 2010 was Tony Hsieh’s Delivering Happiness: A Path to Profits, Passion, and Purpose (Business Plus). Furthermore the most popular e-book gift item for 2010 was George Bush’s memoir Decision Points (Crown).
