Critics Choice Awards: My Predictions

The Critics Choice Awards are this Friday and I am going to attempt to pick the winners for such a prestigious award. Over the coming weeks I’ve talked about the powerhouse of The Social Network and to me once again this will be the major player in terms of film and director.  Colin Firth will take best actor and I think Natalie Portman might just edge out Annette Bening. The Fighter will win best supporting actor and actress for Christian Bale and Melissa Leo respectively. As for screenplays Chris Nolan and Aaron Sorkin will take these prized for their respective pieces. The young actor/ actress category is an interesting one; I want Chloe Moretz to take it for Kick-Ass, but Hailee Steinfeld looks the favourite. Inception might just edge out The Town for best action film and Easy A has to be best comedy movie.
