Critics Choice Awards: The Winners

The winners of Critic Choice Awards were revealed last night and we scored well – 20/25. The big winners of the night were as predicted The Social Network and The Fighter. Inception and Alice In Wonderland performed great in the technical categories and congratulations to 127 Hours which picked up best original song for If I Rise.

The Critics Choice Awards wouldn’t be the Critics Choice Awards if it didn’t come with a few shocks. Best Original Screenplay which we thought was heading to Chris Nolan and Chris Nolan only went to David Seidler for The King’s Speech. Also Hans Zimmer didn’t pick up Best Composer for Inception. Instead Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross picked it up for their terrifying, devilish score for The Social Network.

Our predictions were spot on for Best Director and Best Picture all collected by The Social Network. And we swept the floor dry with the acting categories – we predicted Colin Firth would pick up best actor, Natalie Portman would pick up best actress, and both supporting roles would go to The Fighter.

Here are a list of the winners of the 16th Annual Critics Choice Awards:
