Google Pushes Out Nexus Updates, Yet No 2.3 for Nexus One

No change log has been provided by Google, but it’s rumoured to be a minor patch for the much maligned SMS text bug, a rare one where texts were being sent to anyone other than the anticipated recipient. Security and stability fixes will also probably feature in the firmware update.

The update brings the Nexus One firmware version to 2.2.2, and the Nexus S to 2.3.2. Whilst all is swell in the Nexus S camp, no doubt Nexus One owners (myself included) will continue ponder when Gingerbread will make its way over to the device. Despite being told on a constant basis, ‘It’s coming soon!’ by Google since November, it has yet to materialise.
